Parents' and Friends' Association

The Orange Anglican Grammar School Parents' & Friends' Association was officially formed in August 2008. It is a body of interested parents and friends of the School with the aim of raising both friends and funds for the School. We are an integral part of the Orange Grammar community.
Our aims and purposes are several-fold. In the words of our establishing ordinance, our purpose is to support and assist the School "financially, materially, spiritually and practically". In doing so we strive to support the School achieve its goals, we are a source of ideas and energy and provide a voice for parents. Most importantly, however, we are there as a support network to aid and assist parents and families, students, staff and Council and indeed, any member of our School community.
Our role is an important and essential one. We are helping this wonderful school achieve its full potential. We are an integral part of the broader Orange Anglican Grammar School community. We have been a very positive influence on the School's growth to date. We have delivered meaningful benefits both for our children and the School.
We have initiated and conducted many of our own activities from fundraising barbecues, raffles and Hot Cross Bun Drives to student centred activities like discos.We have held family barbecues and parents' social gathering and supported community events.
We have assisted the School managing its own activities from its Open Days to theatrical productions, from excursions to equipment construction and an end of year dinner.
We have expressed gratitude to the other limbs of our community with a social function and morning teas. We have raised significant sums of money to provide tangible and meaningful benefits to our children with the likes of music instruments, books for the library and donations towards other child education and related needs.
Our efforts meaningfully touch not only our own community but the broader local and even world community which we recognise we are a responsible part of. We invite any parent or friend to be a part of our enthusiastic and resourceful team and to enjoy the benefits of working with other likeminded and motivated members of our School's growing community.

P & F Meetings

Two ordinary meetings are planned for each school term. The dates of all meetings are advertised in the Newsletter and on the website. They are currently held on the second and seventh Tuesday of each term.
