Curriculum
Transition
The Transition to School Program caters for four year olds and aims to provide a smooth transition into Kindergarten. The social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs of the child are catered for in this play based, interest centered program.
Kindergarten to Year 6
In the Primary years our programs focus on mastery of the skills essential for success in life long learning, whilst encouraging creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and acceptance of responsibility for one's own learning.
Students of Orange Grammar are taught the syllabuses prescribed by the NSW Board of Studies and participate in the National Assessment Programs. For students in Kindergarten to Year 6 there are six key learning areas: English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Human Society and Its Environment (HSIE), Creative Arts and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE).
